Entrepreneurship education in Indonesia is still dominated by conventional learning approaches that are mostly theoretical and have not yet optimally developed entrepreneurial mindset among young generations. Meanwhile, the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach has emerged as an effective learning model that enhances critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The integration of STEM and entrepreneurship is considered a strategic alternative to address the challenges of 21st-century education, particularly in fostering an innovative and adaptive entrepreneurial character among students. This study is a literature review aimed at analyzing various research findings related to STEM-based entrepreneurship education models in fostering entrepreneurial spirit among young people. The data were collected from scientific articles, national and international journals, and relevant publications in recent years focusing on entrepreneurship education, STEM education, and project-based learning. The analysis was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach by identifying key patterns, learning approaches, and existing research gaps. The findings indicate that the integration of STEM in entrepreneurship learning can improve students’ innovation skills, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Project-based learning is the most commonly used approach in implementing this model because it provides contextual and practical learning experiences. However, most studies still focus on developing learning tools and have not yet produced a comprehensive model that is easily applicable within formal education curricula. In conclusion, the STEM-based entrepreneurship education model has strong potential in developing entrepreneurial spirit among young generations. Therefore, further development of a more systematic, integrated, and contextually relevant model for the Indonesian education system is needed to ensure broader and more effective implementation.
